Today my sister and her family moved to their new home. It's literally on the other side of the world. (Sighs) I know there's Skype and emails, and I'm soo thankful for that...But I cannot hold my niece's little freckled hand over the internet...
How do you guys cope with long distance family relationships?

I'm sorry to hear they've moved away. :( It's tough having friends and family long-distance but, for me, the most important thing has been making video-chat (either on Skype or g-chat video) a priority. True, you can't hold hands, but being able to see them and talk to them in real time is awesome.
ReplyDeleteSorry friend! That is tough. Sending thoughts and prayers your way. I don't know how to cope besides lots of phone calls and a few vacations to see them! Thinking of you!
ReplyDeleteawe! that is so hard! Just skype them a lot!
ReplyDeleteboo:( hope you guys can stay in touch often!
ReplyDeleteAh, that's sad! I just moved 2,000 miles away from home and I'm still sad about it and figuring out how to have a long-distance relationship with my family. The key I think is staying in touch often and in many ways. I've been sending letters, calling & emailing! It helps. I miss them though.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry for you, sweetie. I know it's tough, especially in the beginning, but it'll get better and just imagine how excited you will be when you visit each other! Thinking of you! Hugs xxx
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry :(
ReplyDeleteSkype is definitely helpful, but not the same. Hopefully you can plan a vacation to visit!
