Do YOU know the way to the Great Valley?

Bonjour kids! Hope your week is going well.. Isn't Thursday the besterest!??? Yes, I agree! Wellsers, today I'm here to share one of my oft repeated, tried and true, favorite movies of all time... The Land Before Time. I hope you've all watched this glorious and classic tale.  Here are some scenes...and some Jongleur comments (Much like my Emma post)...

OHHH! I finally get why she's named Cera...TriCERAtops...LOL
Only took me about 20 years to figure that one out...Oh boy.

PS. It's on Netflix Instant Watch if you want to watch for the first or 90th time.

  1. I was just talking to some of my friends about this movie last week! General consensus was that a re-watch was essential. I love the stills with your blurbs, I will definitely have to get on watching it again!

  8. I love this movie and make my children watch it sometimes they get use to the more sophisticated animation that they need to remember about the oldies but goodies.

  11. OK, LOVE this movie (and I think I was one of the only people on the planet who actually liked Cera...) but I DON'T love the fact that there are like a bazillion sequels!!! Seriously, I think I saw a Land Before Time XI?!?!

  12. OMG. You do not EVEN know how happy this post makes me. Holy Triceratops.

When I think back of movies that shaped my memories as a child....The Land Before Time (along with Pippi Longstocking, Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, and Neverending Story II) is at the TOP of my list. A FAVORITE of mine, forever.

Sweet Littlefoot and the gang. Oh how I love Littlefoot. And Ducky. Not so much Cera. AND PETRIE?!? Why wasn't Petrie mentioned? ;)

I could watch this a billion times. I've already made Hudson watch it at least twice. Poor dude. All the cool toddlers are watching Toy Story 3 or something and I'm subjecting him to quite emotional animation from '88. But it's a classic. He'll thank me later.

And now, a favorite line: "Let your heart guide you. It whispers so listen closely." Are you crying yet? Just a little bit??
